Flyers that were sent home!
Today we sent home 2 flyers, they will both be copied on pink.
PINK is PTA!! All this year we are going to have all our flyers copied on pink paper.
One of the flyers is for t-shirts, all orders need to be in by Wed, Sept 5th.
The other flyer is a volunteer sign-up sheet. Please return these by Aug 31st, all students who return these will receive a small treat!

Back to School!
All this week Aug 22nd-24th will be on early schedule.
8:30am to 1:15pm, remember that those students that ride the bus get excused at 1:07pm and walkers get released at 1:15pm.
You can still join the PTA, There is envelopes by the PTA board. All you need to do it fill out the envelope and pay your dues. We are at 102 members, we are only 18 away from our goal!!

PTA Literacy Night at Treehouse Museum!
Come and play with us! Treehouse museum has invited us to join them for a literacy night "A Knight at the Museum", March 22 6-8pm.
Bend the Rules Day
March 7 and 28!
The cost to bend each rule is $1 or $5 for an all day pass to break all six rules at once
wrist bands will be pre-sold the week before. We will also be selling popcorn for $0.25 that day.
Rules you can break...if they pay for it!
1. Extra 10 min of recess
2. 15 minutes free time in the computer lab or library
3. wear a hat
4. 1 missing assignment can be waived...No TESTS!
5. sit anywhere in the lunchroom, at any table
6. eat a snack in class

Food Drive Results,,,,
Our Peer leader food drive was such a suc-cess! Thanks for all your support. We collected over 1400 items for the hungry in our area. Mrs. Hone’s class won the extra P.E. time with Mr. Frederiksen.
Book Fair
Volunteers are needed. Set-up is January 30th after 3 pm. Jan 31 from 9am-4pm Teacher Preview Fair. Book fair will be open Feb 1st 8-7pm, Feb 2nd 8-5 pm and Feb 3rd 8-1:30 pm. Call Lori Bryson to volunteer. 801-725-4998 or e-mail ry-annlori@msn.com
